Paris: Versailles Palace Enjoy an interesting visit to the incomparable Palace of Versailles. The palace and gardens of Versailles reflect the extravagant tastes of King Louis XIV, the "Sun King." On this excursion, travel by coach to Versailles where your local guide will recount the history of the palace and lead you through the various rooms of the State Apartments. Of particular interest are the Queen's bedchamber and the famous Hall of Mirrors. Please note, the motorcoach is not permitted to drop off at the entrance to Versailles, and the grounds of Versailles are quite large. Walking will be required to fully enjoy this excursion.

Buckingham Palace His Majesty the King's residence in London, Buckingham Palace is the ornate icing on the cake of England's capital city. Serving Britain's sovereigns since 1837, Buckingham Palace is the end point for parades and special events in the city as well as the daily Changing of the Guard. Hundreds gather daily to watch the official changing of the King's Guards in the area outside of the palace gates and to get a glimpse of the palace itself.

Covent Garden Covent Garden is a bustling market square filled with captivating shops, delicious restaurants, and meandering locals. Stroll along outside and perhaps you’ll glimpse a street performing group or head inside where rows of stalls sell their food and crafts.

Windsor Castle The Windsor Castle is a royal residence at Windsor in the English county of Berkshire. The original castle was built in the 11th century after the Norman invasion by William the Conqueror. Since the time of Henry I, it has been used by succeeding monarchs and is the longest occupied palace in Europe. The castle is most notable for its long association with the English and later British royal family and for its architectural style. The castle has undergone several modifications as new Kings took reign. The castle’s early 19th century lavish State Apartments, however, are architecturally significant for its Georgian taste and Gothic style. The castle was originally designed to protect Norman dominance around the outskirts of London and to oversee a strategically important part of the River Thames. Today, the castle is a popular tourist attraction and the preferred weekend home of Elizabeth II.

Eurostar Train Since 1994, the Eurostar Train has been connecting London and Paris in 2.25 hours. Starting at St Pancras Station in London, the high-speed train comfortably takes you through the countryside of England, under the English Channel, and ends its journey at Gare Du Nord in Paris.

The guests will visit Montmartre by metro, so they should be able to walk up and down stairs. Also, Montmartre is a hilly district.

Arc de Triomphe Standing at 164' tall and at the intersection of the Champs Elysee is the Arc de Triomphe. Built for the successful return of Napoleon, yet finished after his defeat, the monument stands at the star-shaped cross point in the heart of Paris along what is referred to as the Meridian Line cutting through the city. Today it is the featured icon and terminus point for Le Tour de France and the Bastille Day celebrations for France's independence.

Eiffel Tower Dinner Built in 1889 as part of the World's Fair by the architecture team of Gustave Eiffel, the Eiffel Tower is the symbol of Paris today. Located on the first level is 58 Tour Eiffel, a gourmet restaurant with stunning panoramic views of Paris. Since food is another big part of Parisian culture, the meal is several courses, beautifully displayed and accompanied with wine, coffee and tea.

Seine River Cruise Separating Paris into the Left and Right Banks is the River Seine. One of the best ways to see Paris is by water. Floating along as the sun sets in a glass-roofed boat, you watch the city come to life. Guided narration and themed music allow you to soak in the atmosphere of Paris as you cruise past Notre Dame, the Musee D'Orsay and the Eiffel Tower.
